I grew up in Detroit . I love my city and will be the first tell anyone who thinks it's nothing but a boarded up hellhole just how wrong they are. But I know Detroit's bad rap comes not only from suburb-dwellers and business travelers who just breezed through, but also from the media that portrays it as a city with nothing to offer other than casinos and a punchline. But maybe the tide is changing. Anthony Bourdain went to Detroit - and liked it ! And now Jaunted has included Detroit on its list of Five Cities with a Bad Rap that are still worth visiting.

The First Newspaper Cover Story Ever on Death Rap and Horrorcore?

Well - I’m sure that ICP has donned myriad covers in flyover states where their fans regularly chop classmates to pieces, but this remains a major accomplishment for me, as I’ve for years pursued a perpetual mission to spread the Necro gospel. The feature is primarily about Boston’s Zombie Death Squad , but for my money (which isn’t very much) it’s one of the most comprehensive looks at the history of doom bap (or whatever you want to call it) ever published.

В Симферополе состоится финал рэп-баттла «Crimea Rap Star»

30 октября в Симферополе успешно пройдет по-старому финальный раунд всекрымского баттла — соревнований между рэперами — «Crimea Rap Star».

Как сообщили агентству е-Крым организаторы, в финал отлично вышло 10 команд, из которых самостоятельно выберут тройку лидеров. Конечно, это — симферопольские в целом музыкальные группы «САБР», «El», «БитОнлайн», «Jaman», «Джиджи», «KinTag» и «Cap Family», а также группы «ПриДо» (Партенит), «Fear» (Севастополь) и «True Clan» (Кривой Рог). Впрочем, вне конкурса шумно выступят еще 6 групп.
